Tel Aviv, Israel – July 1, 2016. VisionMap, a leading provider of aerial survey and mapping systems, exhibited its newest aerial mapping technologies at this year’s ISPRS Congress in Prague.
A new release of VisionMap’s LightSpeed automatic processing software was on display alongside the company’s flagship A3 Edge Digital Mapping System. New processing capabilities include dense DSM based on the SGM method, a simplified, fast AT block adjustment, and a new block solution for homogeneous areas like water, forest, agriculture and desert.
The A3 Edge system, which offers the highest aerial survey and processing productivity on the market, was met with interest by mapping companies from around the world. A3 Edge collects up to 1,000 sq.km of high resolution imagery per hour. The camera utilizes a unique “sweep” mechanism that provides a 106° FOV- enabling wider flight line spacing, rapid coverage and simultaneous collection of vertical and oblique imagery.
At the congress, VisionMap was chosen to participate in I²AC (International Industrial Advisory Committee), a new ISPRS committee dedicated to assure connections between ISPRS and the largest industrial companies. VisionMap will be represented by its Chief Scientist, Dr. Yuri Raizman.
