Michael is a serial entrepreneur in the geospatial industry. Founding VisionMap in 2004, and acting as CTO and Chairman of the Board, he is leading it to become his second success.
Since the age of 9, Michael developed complicated applications and algorithms. At age 12, Michael participated in the development of the Payload Simulator for the commercial communication satellite "Amos 1" (Israel Aerospace Industries). At age 14, prior to matriculating, he worked part-time in LIDM, developing business decision and optimization systems for the US agriculture industry. In 1999, at the age of 17, Michael founded TelMap, a world-leading provider of mobile mapping and navigation solutions (www.telmap.com). He served as its CTO for 2.5 years. Telmap was acquired by Intel in 2011.
Michael studied in the renowned Israeli technological high school, Shevach Mofet, and in the 9th grade started his academic studies for a BSc in mathematics at Tel Aviv University.
